"Hm?" He heard a strange noise, as if a snoring Pokemon, and looked around. He didn't see the Drifloon, not yet anyway, and wondered where the snoring was coming from.

The sound seemed to become louder. He looked up and saw a purple ... thing ... falling down out of a tree, rather slowly like a deflating balloon. It looked rather odd for a normal balloon, Brendan thought. He reached out to touch it to confirm his predictions.
